thx It's a little more work than on the 2125 or a PPC....... You have to open up the Comm Manager from the Start list of programs (no shortcut key on the 3125), then push "1" to switch the phone portion off (Flight Mode!).

I had to search for a few minutes to find the connection manager. Not quite as easy as the old WM days where you could push the power button once and get the mode menu and other options.

For what it's worth, you can push and hold the Home button to get to the old familiar Quick List. It now contains the Comm Manager in place of Flight Mode....

I got used to the list on my MPX 220, but now am somewhat adjusted to the icons on the 3125. If I change to the list on the 3125, what must be done to restore the original icons?

If I change to the list on the 3125, what must be done to restore the original icons? Not positive, but I think the question above is regarding the start menu. I think Xeno is asking if there is a way to toggle back and forth between the list start menu and the icon start menu?

It may work after reboot. On the Motorola Q it would stick after rebooting the phone.

QUOTE (omega2008 @ Oct 4 2006, 01:30 PM) That link says to make the GridView reg edit here: HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Shell/Rai/MSStart On my wm5 device it's actually here: HKCU/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Shell/StartMenu Once you're at the right place you select the GridView DWORD and change the Value Data from 1 to 0. On my phone it DOES stick after a reboot.
