A nice white shell will set the XV6900 apart from the Sprint branded Touch.
The mirror and speaker placement is the same as the Sprint Touch, so any cases and other accessories for the CDMA Touch should work fine with the XV6900.
Side-by-side, the Sprint Touch and VZW XV6900. The white case is slick, unlike the rubbery black case on the Sprint Touch. It's a nice change of pace. When the XV6900 housings become available, I suspect some Sprint users will be swapping out for the white case.
Initially there was some speculation that the XV6900 would be smaller than the other CDMA Touches. As you can see here, it is the same housing, just painted white.
VZW, like Sprint, customized the TouchFlo cube. Along with the icons being different, they have Notes and Voice Recorder on the above side of the cube.
A welcome change from the Sprint version, the Music link in the cube actually takes you to Windows Media Player (the Sprint version goes to the Sprint Music Store). Photos and Video take you to the HTC Album software.
