Meet the Tech Faith Wireless UBiQUiO 501 Pocket PC Phone
PDAFrance has uncovered the Pocket PC Phone UBiQUiO 501 being sold in Europe now. PDAFrance suspects the 501 is manufactured by Tech Faith Wireless, who are also making the i320 for Samsung. However, unlike the Samsung i320 (and Moto Q for that matter) the UBiQUiO 501 has Wi-Fi and will be running Pocket PC Phone Edition. Sweet!

UBiQUiO 501 details: Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Edition - Processor: TI OMAP 750 200 MHz - QWERTY keyboard - GSM900 / DCS1800/PCS1900, GPRS Class 10 - 128 MB ROM + 64MB RAM - Screen: 2.5" QVGA 65K Colour TFT - Connectivité: IrDA / Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP / Wi-Fi(802.11b/g) / mini USB (1.1) - Camera: APN 2M Pixel CMOS camera - Battery: 1250mAh Li-Ion - mini SD slot - Dimensions: 122 x 65 x 13.5mm (ultra slim).

Now, if only HTC would design something that looks like this, but with a decent processor, EDGE, UTMS, 3G, 802.11g, and a quad-band radio...

This thing doesn't have any of those, save for the 802.11g wifi.

That does seem to be a major oversight in an otherwise solid looking device. In the current market a Windows Mobile device lacking at least EDGE is going to drastically reduce it's functionality. I can understand many people don't use the data, and the wifi would be fine for them, but data consumption on mobile devices is becoming more and more common. I think releasing a new device that doesn't cater to that is going to hurt sales.

I belive that GPRS Class 10 is EDGE. Honestly on my smartflip box it doesn't say anything about EDGE (but has it), it simply states GPRS Class 10

Looking at GSM World and Wikipedia it looks like Class 10 is just a slightly faster version of GPRS, but not EDGE. It looks like Class 10 speeds is the standard GPRS speed of around 50kbps download.

GPRS class 10 has been around for a long time but EDGE is completely different with about three times the speed.
You could almost say it's the gsm equivilent of 3G
