You should be able to by going to Start/Settings/Profiles, and scrolling to the profile you want to have ring and vibrate. Then choose Menu/Edit, and from there you can set the Ring type: to Vibrate and Ring, as well as the Notification type:

Wow, that was easy. Guess I should've looked a bit further on that one laugh.gif
Tanks alot, works like a charm.

Hello All,

Just got my Qtek8500 and I was wondering wether it is possible to to set the alert for incomming calls and messages to both ring and vibrate?

I had this option on my mpx220.

Thanks.

Upgraded my mpx200 to sp2003 (moto bootscreen) recently and ever since the keypad backlight doesn't stay lit any longer than 5 seconds.
There's no humming sound whatsoever (thank god) so it's not hardware related i reckon.

Once a key is pressed it comes on again and stays on when a key is pressed within 5 secs of the previous. But after 5 secs of inactivity the backlight turns off, regardless of the power management setting.

Went briefly back to sp2002: keypad backlight stays on for as long as i tell it to.

Running 2003 again and still the same problem.

Anyone any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

thanks again.

I've got an european mpx200, it's supposed to be a triple band device.

Two (newbie) questions that need answering:

1. I've flashed to wm2003 (moto startup logo), bands available for configuration are 900/1800. So I'm missing one, is this because of the 2003 rom?

2 what band is used in the us ?

thanks alot.
