Playing the game is surprisingly simple.... and complex. The goal is to remove all gems from the board. In order to do that, you must have two gems of the same color together either vertically or horizontally. The more gems of the same color together when you select them, the higher the point you get for removing them. As gems are removed, the remaining gems shift down first, then to the left. So the order in which you remove the gems is very important.

The goal is to remove all of the gems. If you leave any gems you must do the round over. In order to progress you must remove all of the gems.

I was surprisingly taken by this game. The puzzle challenge makes the game a brain puzzle more than a game, but it's fun just the same. Like many of the PDAmill games Jewel Master is available for $2.95. At that price it is a game you can and should afford.
