I've had a pretty odd thing happen atleast 4 times in the past week. Not everytime, but sometimes when I put my phone on the cradle connected to my PC at work, the PC reboots! I'm sure this is more a problem with the PC than with the phone, because I haven't experienced this at home yet. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a problem with the USB driver on the PC? Its running Winblows 2000 w/SP3.
Thanks

I'm new to the MPx200 but not to computers. I've seen this happen with some USB devices connecting to a PC that isn't grounded properly internally. Since the cradle doesn't have any internal parts besides the extension cable that sits at the bottom of the cradle, you PC is fine when it is plugged in. However when the phone makes a connection it'll reboot.
Solution: Well, not much you can do besides notify your IT department at work and let them know that your PC is shorting out. Some PC manufacturers don't ground the PCs well enough. (Yet, they totally overreact to the static situation when building them

)
Most likely, your motherboard is not quite sitting on the risers as it should.
