I'm getting a permanent SD card for my phone so now I'd like to move all the crap I installed on the phone to the card. Can this be done without unintalling and reinstalling?

I would guess that it could be done but there would be so much registry and short cut editing that it may be quicker to give it the old hard reset and start over.

OK, let's say I'm too impatient to wait for the new SD card to be delivered so I just install everything on my temp card, then copy it all over to the new one when it arrives. You think that would work?

I have actually cloned my 128 MB SD to my 512 SD and it worked great just using Explorer Copy and paste.

No one should be without an SD card Reader. It makes transfers and backing your card up a sinch. Activesync can tend to time out when doing large transfers through the phone, and if it doesn't time out it still takes forever...
