ok. before i load up on software. which rom does everyone like or use? this phone i bought is only 1 month old and dont know which one i should put on it.

If using it with Cingular, I'd put the most recent Cingular ROM on it. You can find it on the HTC America site if you don't already have it.

I upgraded to the one in the above post. It's much better than the previous one the phone came with. Only thing I don't understand is it has an email icon under the comm manager and it doesn't do anything when tapped.

The icon is for Direct Push email with Exchange server.
