Its main interface as below will pop up as soon as you launch it. You can click “Add URL” to input YouTube URL, afterwards, you will enter the window showing in Step 2.




Step 2: Import URL, specify file name and save path

Copy and paste the URL of the YouTube videos which you want to download into the textbox after “URL”, do remember tick “Only Download FLV source file” only, and uncheck the option “Keep FLV source file”. This program also allows you to rename the YouTube FLV file. Just type whatever name you like into the textbox after “Save as”, and meanwhile, if you do not want to use the default save path storing the downloaded YouTube files, you can click on the ellipse icon at the opposite side of “Save to” to specify a destination folder. After that click “OK” button and the download work will proceed automatically.




Step 3: Download

As soon as you click “OK” to start downloading, the following interface will show up and present you with download info including download process and status. Once download completed, you should click on the file firstly, and then press “Open” button to get the output FLV file. By the way, this program offers a built-in FLV player, you can click on the file at first, and then click “Play” button to play it as you like.
