I have a very strange problem with my phone. I appreciate any help or suggestions:

My Goal: When I make outgoing calls, I do not want that the receiving person to view my phone number on their phones. (Basically blocking my number to receiving person).

I have taken the following steps:
Programs -- Settings -- Telephony --- Caller ID (option 5)
message: Provide my caller ID to:
Gives me 3 options: All callers, No callers, My contacts
I select option: No callers
Press: Done

PROBLEM I HAVE: For a few hours, the option "No Callers" stays active. But, after a few hours the phone itself automatically changes that setting back to "All Callers".

So when I make a call, the receiving party, views my phone number on their phone (which I don't want).

My phone service is with T-Mobile, and they have told me that this is not a Network issue and is strictly phone issue.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Fred

The settings on mine will revert to "All Callers" only if I power down the phone. I have not seen the setting change otherwise.

You can also use *67 to block your number on individual calls.

It seems that this is another software defect on MPx200!!!

I hope that a few more people can test their phone to see if they experience the same problem, and then post the results here.
