May i know what does the button like battery on the mainboard of the MPx200 do? Does it need to be replaced and is it easy to find battery of that type in hardware stores? Thanks!

It's the backup battery. It keeps the phone from loosing all your info when the battery dies or you switch the battery. There was a member here looking for one a while back and was having a difficult time finding it.
