Hi all,
I've had my unlocked smt 5600 for about a year, and I love it. My problem is this: a few months ago, the send button stopped working. This isn't too bad because after dialing a number, one of the softkey menu options is 'call'. But lately the * key has been sporadically not working. Just today I opened the phone up to get rid of all the dust that has collected inside. I don't know if the dust caused the problem, but if the star key stops working altogether then I'm not sure what I'll do. Does anyone know if the keypad can be easily replaced? (not that I could do it myself anyway)

Also, I've noticed that when I remove the battery (to swap out SD cards) I lose my clock setting. I don't understand why the clock isn't run on the small internal battery. In any case I still love this phone, and I'll just buy another one when this one finally craps out.

My son gave me back his one year + old SMT5600 since he switched to a Samsung T509. One of his complaints with the SMT5600 was the keypad was worn out and not working consistently. Hopefully someone out there has some tips.
