I just updated my mx200 to WM5. After that I wanted to install some T9 dictornaries. In order
to do that you need to copy some system files (a .dll and a .mui) to the windows folder on the smartphone.

When I attempt to copy the files using ActiveSync 4.2 it gives an error:
Error copying file. Access is denied. Make sure your
mobile device has sufficient memory, that the file is not
set as read only, and that you have permission to copy
this file.

It checked all the settings and I do have enough memory an the file is not read only. Anybody knows how to fix this problem?

I only have this problem with system files. Text files work fine.

Try moving them to a storage card with a card reader then use a file manager to move them from the card to the phone.

Worth a try. I've not got WM5 on my MPX200 so can not check.

I like Total Commander for phone file management.

Xtreme you should use the rom dumper to copy the files from ROM. No comanders or explorers will help you to take off part of the rom. Try to visit http://onk.nm.ru/mpx200/index2.html and use the utils from that page.
But!!! on your owr risk....
To copy files to Windows folder - simple card reader.
But the Security polices in the registry should be fixed to allow you to make all changes.
