From a functional standpoint, the i760 looks great. I love the keypad along with the keyboard. But from an aesthetic standpoint I think it looks terrible. I just can't stand the off-center d-pad and soft keys. The soft keys on the front of the device in particular really bother me. I just want the soft keys below their place on the screen. I didn't see any mention of EVDO Rev. A in the specs. Are they planning on updating it to Rev. A like the Mogul, or is it just going to be strickly Rev. 0?

From this http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/index.php?showtopic=14277 the Samsung i760 does not appear to be EVDO Rev A upgradeable. The Starcom Libra 5800 appears to be Rev A compliant.

The latest release date for the Samsung i760 is Oct 19. It sounds like they were still finalizing the ROM and that caused the delay. Last year in Smartphone Magazine I said the Samsung i760 was my dream PocketPC device. Waiting a year for this device has given me time to think and look at alternatives. A number of excellent HTC devices such as the Libra offer great features. I still plan to check the Samsung i760 out but I will have to touch it before I buy it.

The Libra appears to be WM6 standard, it looks to me like a newer CDMA version of the HTC S710.
