I have a Cingular-branded Motorola MPx220 on firmware v1.3 that I brought with me to Israel for use on Orange here.

I'm having some trouble getting it connected to the GPRS, though. Anyone else here using this phone in Israel or has had a similar problem?
Any suggestions?

I looked on several sites including Voq's as they have GPRS settings for most countries. The Orange settings appear to:

Access Point Name (APN) : internet

and you don't need to add anything else.

It was the same on two sites. I will ask a dumb question. Do you have the GPRS service added to your account? The way the service works is they have to flip a switch (sort of) for your account that is identified with your SIM. I would also be curious how they charge for GPRS in Israel. Do they have unlimited data plans?
