because my MPX200 died, I have parts left.
The big LCD and small LCD were working.
The only things I dont have:

Battery
and the cover over the battery.

Housing is damaged, so I dont think anyone will be interested.
I dont want much for the parts. Just mail me:

It says it's compatible.

Which means it will read it, doesnt mean it'll read the whole 2 gigs though.

Guys what are we talking about?

come on, be realistic! 1 GB useable of 2 GB disc. There are no advantages smile.gif

common problem is that the connector is loose!

you can fix this to put a little ducktape (or other strong tape) over the connector.

I used it also for my LCD screen and it works!!!

With all respect. I read a lot of good ideas and things that could be done with the MPX200. (not only on this forum but also on other forums as well) But I never seen something that it is true.

So I dont think we will ever see a working MPX200 with bluetooth or whateva.
I am not negative, just realistic.

MPX200 uses normal USB mini cable. They cost here around 5 and 10 dollar in the local PC shop.

I fixed my phone. The ribbon cable between the phone and LCD was also damaged. I fixed the problem by taping the ribbon cable very thight to the phone. I did it with ducktape. And I made a little bump with the tape. So that when the cover is on the phone, it makes pressure on the ribbon cable.

And it works fine now. It has been fixed.

Ive had a similar issue with one of mine. I thought it happend after I went lookng for a new lether case for my phone. I had allowed the clerk at the store to try a few cases on my phone and one of them she tried forcing the upper portion over the screen with considerable force. mabey it's just bad timming tho.... Wehn I took it apart, I found that my ribbon cable was damaged but I suspect mabey the LCD itself is also

I have also this problem.

At first I thought... wow great... I love overclocking stuff... but then I thought... wow... what a waste of battery.

Yeah maybe true, but I use 153 and i did not notice a big difference in battery life.
What I did notice was that Quake runs acceptable now!!!!

WOW THANKS MATES!!!!!!

There is a much easier, readily available way to use a BT headset with the MPx200. Get a Jabra BT adapter. It will only work for headsets, not any other BT functions, but it does work. There are other models as well, and you can probably find one really cheap.

So this will also work with other headsets for other manufactors?

So I can use all BT carkits? That would be really awesome!!!

Well, I overclocked my MPx200 with WM5 sucessfully to 140mhz. Well, I can at least notice the difference when using the phone. After that, I took my father's MPx200 (which runs OS2003) and it runs EXELLENT at 156mhz.
Anyway, great tool; Thanks.

OMG its working 156mhz on 2003 smile.gif
No probs yet

One thing though......

How can I hold this speed even after reboot?
Becuase after reboot or phone went out, its back to normal speed...

Did you try an upgrade with your mpx200?
Can't you turn on your phone?
Don't you see anything on your screen?

Because i received a lot of PM's I decided to help out you guys who tried an upgrade.

You have to turn on your phone while holding your left navigation button. Then connect your phone to ur PC with the USB cable. If you hear a sound from your PC. Then your phone is connected.

If it doesnt work. Dont worry. Just pop the battery out of the phone.
For at least 1 hour or even longer.

Just try and try, it might work!

I tried hundred times or so until it works. Be sure your battery is full. Otherwise just connect it to your phone and charge it overnight. And yes, you cant see while its charging.

Dont ask for the original image! I wont give any. I just wanna say that you have to downgrade to Windows Mobile 2003. And you might find it with the program which the icon like a a mule. blink.gif

Hi guys!

Good news. It was true, my phone was not dead. It was probably the SD card, so I have to change it into a Sandisk SD card.

But!

The good news is: You can flash back to 2003!!!

I did succesfully!!!

Exactly! smile.gif
You actually can use any kinda new and fast one. With the slow card the system on your phone will work slower (checked for 100%).  When you successfully flash the phone - later you can use different cards - but you should put the content of your first card to other cards. Thus you can change cards with new OS.
Don't power it up - just take another card and repeat the flash procedure. It's possible not to flash the first img. Start from the second part. That's it.

Well problem is that when i connect my phone to the PC. The PC will not see the phone... sad.gif

Don't try to use Kingston card! From app. 40 people from our MPx group only one guy managed to start the phone with Kingston!. I don't know the real reason but possibly Kingston does not want to recognize TFAT. Just use other card. By myself - I tried to reflash three times with 256 Kingston without any success - hang up after the last img flash.
Then I just took the 16 Mb Card from the package (original) and - all was done in a couple of minutes.
That's the only reason.

But the problem is that I canīt power up the phone now.
And it doesnt seem to charge as well.

But is it true that when having not the right SD card that the phone wonīt power on?

What card do you have? My phone did not have a SD card in the orginal package.
So what brand SD card will work?

Sandisk probably?

I did everything what smart turk movies told me. And yes I removed the battery and put it in many times!!!

And all images seem to installed correctly. Everythink went all right after
installing image 1. And image 2 and 3 installed also correctly. (when I had a connection)

But please, can someone zip the files which are supposed to be on the SD card? I want to put them also on my SD card with the card reader. Maybe it helps!
