*#999# is a special code on the MPx200. For some reason in WM2003, #999# does it also. It's supposed to open the log file. The WM2003 version doesn't have a log file for some reason, therefore you get the error. I do not know of a way to actually do the carrier code #999#. If you want to check your balance using that method, you can downgrade to WM2002 or check it on t-zones. You could always of course check it the traditional way by calling 611.
there is no function like *#999# in T-Mobile if u want to check ur minutes u need to dial #646# or the balance u need to dial #225# it works i check on wm 2002 and wm 2003
