Hey y'all. My co-worker just came from the UK for vacation and as a gag present, she brought me a catalog for the O2 carrier. Which I must say, they have a HUGE selection of phones, and phones that we ACTUALLY want. Their prices are better (I already factored the US Dollars to UK Pounds ratio). Anyways, just out of curiousity, I checked their website and selected a phone with a plan just to see what it would cost to have a cell phone over their. As I picked the O2 XDA Mini S (which is nice) and I noticed that they provided insurance for it. I bit pricey, roughly about USD$16 (UK$7.50) but in my opinion is worth it. Thats what bothers me about Cingular. They don't mind charging us more for their "PDA Connect" and keep pushing to sell these high end items but won't provide insurance. I wouldn't mind paying an extra $10 or $15 if I know that I have a gurantee that my phone is covered. Why doesn't Cingular do that instead?
