Has anyone heard anything about T-Mobile disabling the RAZR's email capability? There is a review on Amazon from someone who bought a RAZR from TMO and posted the following:

"T-Mobile is crippling their Razor V3 - they are intentionally disabling the e-mail client that is built-in to the phone. (Other vendors aren't crippling the phone like this). Worse, they don't tell you about this before you buy it - so BEWARE!"

mad.gif I am thinking about picking one up for a backup and am wondering if I shouldn't just buy an unlocked one from the internet?

Anybody know anything?

Thanks,baslanides

Best thing to do is to ask them upfront in the store. You should also be able to play with one and should be able to tell from there. I don't know anything about the razor so I am not much help there, but these are some general things you could try.

I am also looking to pick one up for backup and would like to know if anyone has any feedback or knows if that crippling is still going on? I think they were disabling it back then because of several glitches in the first razors introduced to the market but since then Moto has Tweaked them to be able to deal with email... (i think)
