I try to get the experts from the support to help me with this challenge but it seen they
all left for the Holidays.

I successfully Backup my Blackjack I Window MOBILE 5 with the Sprite
program v6.0 just in case I ran into a problem before I attempted a
free upgrade to WM6. I am just holding on until my contract expires next year to get the Blackjack 3.

Everything when smoothly with the upgrade and my phone works great with wm6.
Expect that my GPS blue tooth device is now not compatible with this Blackjack version.

So instead for throwing money away on a new blue tooth device, I try to do a restore to the old wm5.

So after re-installing the sprite program on my phone I received an automatic upgrade from sprite to 6.2 . Thanks but no thanks because now in my attempt to do a restore
I get this error that says:
(The selected backup was created using a different
Version of Sprite Backup. ( 6.1.0, Build and is incompatible with your
Current version 6.2.2, Build 2280. ) Apparently Sprite upgraded their programs and
now I need their previous version of Sprite so it will be compatible with the old backup Sprite version on my phone.
Help.

Are you sure the old Bluetooth GPS won't work with WM 6.1? Maybe the best thing is to upgrade to WM6.1 again and fiddle around to get the GPS working. What Bluetooth GPS are you trying to use? There may actually be a firmware upgrade for the GPS unit from the manufacturer.

Also, I always store my Sprite backups on my SD card as an executeable so i don't need to reinstall Sprite if I restore.
