Hey thanks a lot. It is funny, when I called Cingular I got a person that swore Medianet was just "the way you get on the internet. You know just click the explorer but on you phone and that is Medianet". I tried to explain the comparison to mMode......but to no avail!!!!

Thanks for the help!!

Heh, the only thing that I miss about mMode was the buddy location feature. It was simply a location "tracker" for people in your "list" that used the GSM Tower triangulation method and gave the nearest intersection of the "possible" location. It was pretty handy at times when you wanted to meet someone on your "list", and it also gave you a list of things in that area or an inbetween area. Honestly though, that is about the only thing that I ever missed about mMode. No it wasn't like stalker stuff, it alerted the other person whenever they were being "tracked" and let them know who was "tracking".
