8525 Freezing Up, Caused by MicroSD Card or Wifi?

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 7 Joined: 11-January 05 Member No.: 6,774	I have been using an 8525 for a couple of months. Most of that time, I haven't had wifi turned or a microsd card installed. But when I have had wifi turn on and a microsd card installed, my phone has frozen up unexpectedly every once in a while (a couple of times per day). The only way to "unfreeze" it seems to be to remove and reseat the battery and boot the phone back up. I am working on isolating the problem by turning wifi off but still keeping the card installed. In the meantime, I was wondering, has anyone else experienced this problem? Any insights about what causes it?

[/quote] As a new Windows Mobile user (was a Palm Treo guy) I too was frustrated by frequent lock ups on my Dash. I was told it was due to Windows, Windows, Windows!! - But more helpfully I hope, check to see how many apps. you have running. For some reason most of the stock apps don't have a exit option and you have to go inot the Windows Task Manager and shut apps down. This helped my lock-ups.
