_ HTC Typhoon & Feeler _ Emergency Phone Number, through keylock?

Hi all,
Something odd I noticed... if the keypad is locked and I type 08, a screen comes up that says:
08
An emergency phone
number was entered. Press
TALK to call. Or press the
Cancel key to cancel.
What is this '08' emergency phone number, and more importantly, how do I disable this emergency feature? I'd like to disable it for all emergency numbers like this -- I think the chances of it getting accidentally punched in my pack is greater than needing it and not being able to unlock the phone properly first. Any ideas? Thanks!

08 Voice connect County 911 Emergency Center, just delete from contacts

Hi, sorry it's taken so long to reply, I did not receive e-mail notification of your reply for some reason.
I have searched through my contacts, and do not see any listing of 911 or Emergency center, or anything I didn't have on my previous phone. Is there something I have to enable or somewhere else I must go to see them?

Edit the registry key called "List", located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\ECall\
You may need to restart your phone for the settings to take effect.
