are cingulars contracts void under the new att. last switch i rember that they were no good i hope this is the case again

Not the case. I don't belive it was the case last time either. What makes this different than last time is that AT&T was a seperate company that Cingular "took over". This time, there is no buy out, or take over. It is just simply a name change. If I understand it correctly, you won't have to worry about changing over to a different billing system or anything like that, things will remain how they are, only under a new name. Someone please correct me if I am wrong as I haven't had the ability to follow this as closely as I did the origional merge (this case not being a merge, just name change for whatever reason).
