Hmmm, I think the mpx220 would be better since motorola is a trusted name and it will have a camera and bluetooth and miniSD might support wifi cards???

My mpx broke shortly after upgrading to 03.. dont think it is the firmware.. just a glitch in the phone so it wont charge ne more.. i bought an external charger which let me sell it.. syncing still works oddly..
NE ways scrambling around for 3 days i realized how much i depend on my smartphone, so i bought a mitac mio 8390.. w/03 already ono it.. WOW what a difference.. its smoother for 1.. seems alot faster.. camera is mediocre 640x480.. :/ but it does Video :] and its very fast.. decent on battery life.. about the same as mpx.. 1 1/2 days,

Drawbacks.. you have to do some tweaking to get gpi working (vdo will play choppy until you fix GAPI) i found the fix on modaco. its suppost to support MP3 ringtones but everytime i select one it plays REAL slow... so iono what is up w/that.

Overall i am glad i upgrade.. but mpx was still a great phone.

How is the RF on your new 8390, compared with your old MPX-200? Also, I would appreciate you letting me know how loud the earpiece AND speaker are.....
Thanks

actually the speaker phone / ringtones are just as loud as on the MPX *when the mpx was working properly. the earpeice is fine.. i turn it down times cause its too loud. the speaker is ok, i havent found anything to come close to nokia 6200 speaker phone. but all else is great.. 1 gripe , this supports mp3 ringtones.. but everytime i select 1 it plays all slow likes a tape deck low on batteries.. probably something im not doing right.. the wav files work like a charm though.

1 more gripe* actually when ur on the phone w/someone and another person calls or u get a txt msg , b4 on my mpx only you would be able to hear it.. now on this mio both me and the person im talking to can hear it .. its annoyingly loud so that erks me too.
