I have a new Samsung Blackjack (Cingular service). When I turn it on, it freezes after the Windows Mobile startup screen. I have to remove the battery to restart, but it freezes at the same point each time. It may be a corrupt Homescreen file, but not sure.

Anyone out there have suggestions how to correct this startup freeze?

Thanks.

You need to perform a hard reset. The owners manual should be able to tell you how, or you can find it using Google. I don't know how to specifically with the Blackjack, but that should fix the problem.

Power on while holding the 'up' portion of the d-pad.
