To-day when I was browsing my Icons I entered Resource Manager and to my suprise, the only thing there was the box outlines no system information what soever. I tried a couple of soft resets and no luck.
I connected to active sync and it said the last time synced was 2/02/07. Yet it was synced yesterday.

Should I do a hard reset?

The only thing I did yesterday was load a new theme. Everything else seems to be working fine.

Thanks
Bob

I'd get a copy of Sprite Backup and create a backup of your current state. Then try a hard reset and see if that does fix things. If not, you can restore from the backup and try going from there.

When I was using an MPx200 and then the MPx220 I resisted the Sprite suggestion...often. And I had to rebuild my phone several times. A few times 'cuz I had to hard reset after trying a new homescreen. mad.gif

When I got my wm5 device, I finally broke down and bought Sprite. It's one of the best things I've done and I fully recommend it. If the hard reset doesn't fix your problem, you'll be right back here where you are now in less than five minutes. Well worth it in my opinion.

Good luck!

Thank you.

The hard reset took me back to the updated ROM 1.49 that I had installed.
I bought Sprite backup and it works great. I tried restore and of course I ended up with my problem back, so I assume it was a theme I unloaded that was a tsk. file.

Now I just have to get my other files and backup proper and I am ready to go again.

Thank you.

Okay a seniors moment. ROM 1.49 has media player 9. I had thru searching come up with a site that gave me an update to media 10 mobile. I have just spent 2 hours and have not come up with that site. I seem to recall I went to several diff. links to get.

Any hints available.

Well, in order to update the ROM to one that's not your carrier's you have to use the offline updater. If you do a Google search for MPx220 offline updater, you'll find links to the ROMs as well.

I used the updater and my media 9 now plays my audio files again.
I am with Fido, which is owned by Rogers. They have no support for mpx220.

Thanks for the help.
