One of my email accounts was giving me an attitude. So I figured I would just delete it and reinstall it. After deleting, it didn't disappear, it went to the bottom of my list. After deleting it again, IT DISAPPEARED ALRIGHT, along with the one above it, my SMS ACCOUNT!
Wouldn't be so bad, except, I do not know the settings to set it back up.
Anyone, a little assistance please?

I don't remember the settings for the iPAQ, but I do know that T-Mobile can OTA the settings back to your phone. You may want to check their site, and if you can't find anything just call em from a different phone and they will hook you up in seconds...

Thanks Gryphon, thats what I thought since you can send the "my email" settings right to your phone. I sent an email, and called. No Help.
The phone still tells me I have SMS messages, but there is no way to view them.
Answer from T-Mobile-

HARD RESET

That is suprising that they weren't more willing to help. It bothers me that the information can't be pulled up in their support pages, or that there isn't an option to have it sent OTA. What is even more bothering is the fact that the CSR was of no help. I wonder if you backed up, reset, and restored if you would have your settings then. My instinct would tell me know. I would call them again, and if that CSR can't help, press them to bump you up level by level until someone can help you, just explain to them that a hard reset is unacceptable.

I'm sorry let me be clear.
A- They replied to my email in about 12 hrs. ATT was 12 years
B- I called, they answered. Att never answered in the first 40 minutes

Spoke with a level 2 guy, who thought he gave me the right info, but I was mobile at the time, and unable to do what he said.
When I could try it, it didn't work and my return email said to "HARD RESET".

I'll try the back up, which by the way is how I got into this mess. It doesn't carry the my email settings over very well. I should have bought Sprite for this phone too

Ok, so T-Mobile didn't totally let you down as far as support, they just aren't properly trained, or not able to in that manner.

Side note: iPAQ backup is Sprite wink.gif

Isn't there an upgrade I can get from Sprite though?

As for T-Mo, for where I am, the gsm service is 10 times better than ATT, and Customer Service has been great in comparison.
I was working with a level 3 guy on my internet settings, which ended up being screwed up on their end, and I told him to check out the site if he needs any help!

for $20 a month(unlimited data w T-Mo phone plan), you can't beat it.
And with the Terminal Services Client, I don't need ATT Office Online, which was another $10 a month.
