_ HTC Phone Edition Devices _ Alert sound question on MDA

i want to put a custom ringtone in the alerts of my mda..

Can someone advise.. When i put ringtones in the windows directory it shows up for my regual phone ring tones, but not for my alerts

please let me know...

What file format are your ringtones? For my Cingular 8125 to use a media file in alerts/notifications it has to be in .wav format.
