This happened again this morning and maybe I am too sleepy after 3 days and nights of tornadoes, but I thought when I listened to an unheard VM that it did not give me the date or time. (It was from yesterday and I thought it was today.) If so, what would I need to do to activate this feature?
Thanks.

I don't think that setting is actually on your device. I think VM settings are made over the phone while acessing your VM box. On my carrier, after I've dialed my VM box there are prompts to change the "settings" (like outgoing message etc). I don't know if there is one to choose a time/date stamp though. I kind of thought that was automatic. But, that's where I'd look.

I think you are right, but I have gone through the Cingular system and can't find a place that allows me to add the day and time.

Well I thought I could edit my last message, but ...
I called Cingular and they made an adjustment so it works now.
