Hello. What is the limit of storage space the smt 5600 will accept? Saw a 4gb minisd and was wondering.

I think it's 2GB, but I'm not positive. One thing to make sure you check is if the 4GB miniSD is miniSDHC. SDHC is the same size as the regular card, and will it in the slot no problem, but if a device doesn't specifically support SDHC (and most don't, even the newer devices) it won't work. Even some of the regular non-HC 4GB cards are hit and miss depending on your device.

Yea I don't think the smt 5600 can support sdhc. For anyone else who might be thinking about this: http://www.sandisk.com/sdhc/SDHC.pdf

I know that my HP 6515 supports 4GB SD (non-HC); I just snagged a Samsung 4GB MiniSD on ebay for $28 (!)-I'll see if my SMT 5600 and the HP will like it.....

My HP likes it and my SMT5600 appears to like it, too-it shows 3.8 GB in the task manager.
