I am setting up a 2nd hand Blackjack given to me. I pulled out the old SIM card, placed mine in and booted up. I'm seeing contacts from the previous user still on the phone. How do I delete these old contacts (or anything else that has been user added for that matter).

Thanks,

Greg

Do a hard reset. The Blackjack manual states "To perform a manual Hard Reset, press the Up Navigation key and the (Power) key. Caution, if you perform a manual Hard Reset, the storage and setting is also initialized." Once you do this the phone will be back to the state it was in when shipped brand new.

I always recommend a hard reset when you buy a used phone. A clean slate is always a safe way to start out with a used device. I thinks this will also work.

BlackJack: Start -> Settings -> Security -> Reset; then enter Default Password: "0000"
