Ok.. i have a mpx220... y bought it in US.. now in my country (Panama, Latin America) the phone its supposed to be Unlocked.... here are two carriers.. (cwpanama and Movistar) when i put a cwpanama sim card in.. the phone doesnt get the signal.. and says No Service.. but when i put a Movistar sim in.. it has FULL STRENGHT Signal.. bu still says No Service..! is the phone blocked.. or its other thing..?

i have try the Hard Reset... but i do wanna try installing the lastest windows mobile 5.. so i need an upgrade.. but how can i do this? im a completely NOOB at this.. so plz guys.. can u help me out..?

To answer you last question first, there is no WM5 ROM for the MPx220. You could try flashing it with one of the many WM2003 ROMs and see if that helps get a working signal though. There's directions on how to do the ROM flash here. The ROMs aren't legal to distribute though, so you'll have to use Google to find whichever you want to flash.

hmm ok... another question..! in that guide u gave me.. theres something called Motorola Offline System Updater...

where can i find it..? ive google it..

Google Motorola Offline Updater. You'll find a link to download it within the first page of results. Took me less than 5 minutes to find it just now.
