Any ideas why my Q will not charge while connected to my computer? I feel like my MPXs never had this problem and know that my BB didn't...

I'm sure this is a junior level question, but can't seem to find any info out there about this issue...

Please advise.

I have my Q connected to my Dell laptop now and it is charging. You don't see the little charge signal in the upper left of the screen? Try another USB port.

Are you using a hub? I read somewhere that a hub may cause problems charging the Q. I've also not had any problems with my Q charging over USB.

I found this note on a Moto website (at least I linked from Motorola) in reference to the Q charging:

http://www.motoqwiki.com/index.php?title=G...attery_Charging

Note: If your battery has been completely drained, it cannot be charged via the USB cable plugged into the computer (this connection will only maintain current battery life). Use a wall charger or car charger to recharge the battery. Some computer USB ports provide a higher current than others, and will provide more rapid charging.

Additionally, could dust or dirt be preventing a good connection? I know that's happened to a friend of mine on another Motorola phone.

Nice find. This is pretty disappointing, though. I wonder if the phone will charge with the cradle; I would assume so, since that is the main purpose, correct? Anyone have any comments about these and is $39.99 the best deal out there for these?

For now that's the cheapest cradle. I've been searching, but can't find it anywhere else. I really want a cradle, but refuse to pay that much for one.
