Ok so now verizon Finlay has the treo available for order (none in stores, great launch plan guys) but they are charging way to much for it. Cingular has it for 349 - $50 rebate, so $299. When I contacted Verizon about crediting the difference or some such they pretty much told me to go scew... So, what would be the best process for getting a Verizon image off the phone and then getting it on to a cheaper one from another carrior... I gather there is some diff between the GSM and CDM radio's but folks have been successfully putting the Treo's onto the version network for some time anyway. Lets not take this laying down!
