This morning, the Cingular website had a page on the 3125 which was quickly removed. However, if you use the "Search" on their home page and enter "3125", you do get the following:

"Windows Mobile Smartphones - Cingular Wireless
... Introducing the Cingular 3125/3100 Smartphone with Windows Mobile ® 5.0. Windows
Mobile smartphones are the ideal productivity solution for both voice and data ... "

Unfortunately, the link takes one to the 2125 as they have obviously pulled the original page. But a release must be close!

** They have now removed that too! **

Interesting. Today is the day that according to a source, that it was supposed to hit the Business end. I will check Cingular Premiere to see if it is posted yet. They could be waiting to do an "official" release announcement at CITA sometime today as well, and someone jumped the gun by posting it. Guess we will have to wait and see...

Just checked the business end and there is no links or specs to the 3125, but it does currently show the 2125 as Out of Stock.

*UPDATE*
3125 on sale now for business customers

I really think that this is going to be the flagship for smartphones and put them on the map in the consumer market. All just based simply on form factor and then capabilities. I know that is sad to say, but look how popular the Razrs are, and those are very basic phones. Now imagine if they market this just right, people will be lining up for a cool new Windows Mobile phone. You would be amazed at how many people don't know that Windows comes on phones now...
