Download the Smartphone version of Agile Messenger from here. It does AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, and Google.

Don't you have to pay for Agile now? I read it on their website that you get a trial version then you have to register and pay for it... =(

I haven't had to yet. I noticed it just went out of beta last week when the beta version prompted me to upgrade. But I don't see anywhere in the new version to register it, and I haven't been asked to yet. It looks as if it's still free for the moment.

I launched my beta Agile Mobile last week and it made me update the software which then has a trial period of 7 days. Then you have to buy it. I went to the Agilemobile.com site and there are 3 different service levels. I dont understand what they mean. The first plan is for 3 months at $14.95. My question is....does this mean the program stops working after 3 months...or i just dont get support from the company. I dont really care about the support I just want the program unlocked forever.

anyone come across all this?

Yep, they finally started requiring users to purchase the Pocket PC version. I think you are actually connecting to their servers when you connect to Agile, so the fee isn't payment for the software, but for the service they provide. So after 3 months if you got the $14.95 plan, you'd still have the software but couldn't get it to connect unless you paid again.

For some reason I found a flaw in their system. I can get onto their servers once, but if i log out, the next time I try to log on, it prompts me to download. Well, I can usually reboot my phone and log on again without the prompt to update the software and it works just fine. Strange huh.. don't know if anyone else noticed this but I haven't had to pay for agile at all. =)
