A little more detail on what you are developing would probably help get more people interested in it. I know I meet the requirements, and want to know exactly what you are developing before I sign up or not.

Here's what I got for a response.

Hi Mike,

Thanks very much for your interest in our beta program. The first thing I would like to do is verify that we have coverage in your geographic area. Could you let me know the specific towns/cities/freeways in the northeast where you do most of your driving?

Best Regards,

And then....

Hi Mike,

We have some coverage for the routes you describe, and we are looking at whether it is sufficient to justify a beta test. I'll keep you posted. The product is not a traditional navigation application, so coverage is more of an issue than one might assume.

Best Regards,

Chris Cooper

Very mysterious, or not....you decide.

Not so mysterious - it's just that details of the product have not yet been made public, so an NDA is required for detailed information. Anyone who meets the requirements and is in an area with coverage can participate in the beta.

Unfortunatly, Chis told me my area isn't covered. If the details of the program aren't supposed to be public yet, I won't say what they are. But it sounds like it could be a very cool, useful application.
