Wow no posts here yet? Ok well i am a current mpx200 owner and I have been waiting for some alternative to my current phone, even though i do love it. Anyway I just looked at the specs and info for the currently available O2 XDA II Pocket PC Mobile 03 phone. It looks like it would be at least $600-$750 but what a powerhouse! 400mhz, 128mb ram, built in digi cam and more!

So does anyone have one of these? If so please let me know what you think! I am specifically interested in it's multimedia performance since I am a game fanatic!

Heres an ebay link to one of these:

I was looking at these when I was getting a PPC/Phone, but I ended up going with the Eten P300. There were a couple of things I didn't like about the XDA II. It is large (compared to the Eten), and I wouldn't want to hold that up to my face. It is expensive (once again, compared to the Eten). But I agree, it is a pretty cool device. I really love my Eten P300, so you could check that out as well if you haven't yet.

You really may want to check into the HP 6315. It has every form of mobility available (for the most part) to include a digital camera (not the greatest but it works), it is cheaper, and it has good battery life...

hmmm i wonder bout the battery life. Its an xscale processor so it wont always run at 400mhz only when needed.

well the Eten looks cool but it has half the memory of the O2 XDA and only 4096 colors, which wouldnt be good since I want a nice display for gaming and other multimedia stuff.

I was really interested in the HP 6315 but with only a 168mhz processor and only 64mbs of RAM I dont think it would run games, videos, and other multimedia stuff very quickly.

This link below confirms some of my fears too sad.gif
