i have an unlocked SDA and i cant get on AIM with my fone cuz it uses t-zones (or at least i think so)..is there any hack or modification i can make so that it uses my wifi connection to connect to the aim server instead?

if not, then are there other programs which i can load that will allow me to do this?

thanks =D

Have you come across the Agile Messenger app? I don't know how it works (if it's either/or GPRS/WiFi) but I know I've read several posts around here from others who use it and like it a lot. Check this thread:

Agile Messenger with T-Mobile free WAP?

There might be some useful info for you there.

Good luck!

I'd recommend Agile. Their newest v3 Alpha work with QVGA WM5 Smartphones. The only problem I've run into so far is Yahoo doesn't work yet. But MSN and AIM both work great, and it should work over wifi no problem.
