Sprite Backup will do the trick. It will not copy the ROM but it will copy all your programs, data and registry. I install Sprite on my SD card and also save my backup there. When you get another same model phone running the same OS, eg, 2002 or 2003 you simply stick the SD card in, go to the Sprite folder and execute the Sprite Backup program. It will virtually clone your phone. But it must be the same model and OS or you will have a screwed up registry.

Sprite has a trial period so you could see that it works.

SPRITE BACKUP

I have purchased sprite a while back and do the same as you on my sd card i also create a copy on my pc just in case. The thing is I have 2 mpx200's the 1 that is running the original software the lcd is broken i cannot see what is going on, on the phone. sprite is all wm gui. I want to copy that phones setup and place it on the one that is working which currently is running wm203. is there a prog out that i can run from my desktop that will allow me to explore my smartphone and copy all the files? activesync allows to explore but you cannot copy the system files.

Download Remote Display for PPC. It will work for 2002OS Smartphone.

For 2003 you will need the developer version.

If you have two phones just do them both at the same time. Use the screen on one to know what the other one has on it.

Or use remote display, but i think sprite will cut that off when it starts a backup.

try also USBTerm.... you can create an image of your workly phone and then write it to your damaged one !!! just have a sd card on which you install the os and the cradle.
