Hello,

I am looking for some specific information pertaining to the Dell Axim handhelds and don't seem to be getting anywhere with the company help services. I am wondering what type of communication is supported through the I/O connector (cradle connector) on these models.
Does anyone know if any of the models are USB hosts? Also, do you know if the models are RS232 serial or Digital (TTL) serial?

I'm a new member and i'm really excited to now be part of this forum.

I think you can connect to the internet via the activesync cable if that's what you're looking for.

If you are trying to get a serial or usb device to communicate with the Dell(I know the X5 from experience) then you'll have to do a little work. I had create my own null adapter and apply 5v to one of the pins to get the serial communication to work.
