Mobile Gadget News :: Making Your Mobile Life Simpler _ Cingular 3125/Star Trek _ Tmobile cab file?

Posted by: mrdwong Jan 24 2007, 05:52 AM

Just got a Cingular 3125 and I'm in the process of getting it unlocked and I plan to use it on Tmobile. Anyone develop a cab for it yet with Tmobile splash screen, opening tones, etc.? It's been done on another phone...would those files/process work with this phone as well?

I'm not sure if http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/index.php?showtopic=7454 will work with a QVGA screen or not, but it can't hurt to give it a try and see. They were developed for the older Smartphone screens. This will also install the data settings required to get online with T-Mobile.

For sure the data settings in the cab works. I've got a 3125 unlocked and being used on T-mo as we 'speak'. I have a T-Mo MDA, and looked but can't find the first splash screen with all the gray boxes and the T-Mo logo on it. That's the only splash T-Mo specific on my MDA, the other is a Windows Mobile image.

I do have the T-mo Jingle and homescreen wallpaper if you can use them.

Months ago, I changed my startup/shutdown sounds to the T-Mobile ones and it didn't work...I then tried to restore the Cingular one, but nothing...I don't even get that Cingular tune when it first starts too. I guess that part is good, but I'd like to get the T-Mobile ones working.
