I've been having problem syncronizing my phone eversince it came in. Everytime i tried to sync an error message comes up saying "The connection failed due to missing server information or user credentials." I tried everything in the manual but no luck.

What version of ActiveSync are you using and what setting do you have checked in Connection Settings on the ActiveSync menu?

How is your Outlook setup, due you use an exchange server or just pop email?

Did ActiveSync ask you to create a Partnership when you first connect the phone?

Are you running a firewall. Make sure it is allowing ActiveSync to connect. You may try shutting it off for a minute while you test or delete and reinstall activesync.

Well I think you are making progress as the PC is asking for the Partnership - right? Does ActiveSync start when you plug the phone into the USB and ask for a Partnership? Have you tried repeating plugging in and unplugging the phone to get ActiuveSync to kick in on the PC? On the VOQ you may want to try going to ActiveSync and MenuOptions>PC and see if a PC is identified and try a manual sync.

Unckeck the SSL connection and only check the USB connection.

Still not working. Do you think that Sierra Wireless Customer service can help with this issue.
