I am getting Voq Professional GSM Tri-Band Mobile SmartPhone for 120 USD. I do not know if it works in India. Anyways how is this phone, is it worth the buy? as I have heard that VOQ has discontinued this phone.

Please suggest!

Thanks.

I personally loved the Voq. It's a little large, but the thumb board is really nice. Depending on which version you get, it'll work fine in India. You'll need to get the version that is 900/1800/1900 Mhz, the Voq A10, if you want the best service possible. There's another version made for the US that's 850/1800/1900 Mhz, the Voq A11.

I am getting this version: 900/1800/1900 MHz frequency band . I think it will be useless if something happens to the phone, as voq do not have any authorized dealer in india. I guess I will buy this phone. Looks decent to me.

Thanks for responding.

Where are you buying it from? For as cheap as they sell for these days, repairing it from an authorized dealer would be more expensive than getting a new one (unless it's still under warranty).

Thank you for responding.
I am buying from this shopping web site at:

http://shopping.rediff.com/shop/storeprodu...ne_shoppinghome

I don't think that they are giving any warranty. Again it's an online shopping so I guess it will be impossible to reach the dealer after sales. What do you suggest?

Try searching for VOQ on ebay. You can get them Brand New for around $50-$60 US dollars.
