Anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find the largest card for the 3125 and one that works for sure with this phone. Have heard mixed information on whether it can handle a card larger than 1 GB and then other conflicts with certain manufacturers vs others (i.e. "verison" works, certain scandisc does not work, etc)

Just piecemealing my way through building it up to the software level I had on the MPX 220 (new version of sprite backup, etc).

Thanks!

You can get a 2GB one off ebay for about 90.00 bucks or less.

Thanks for the response Omega. So the phone can handle any make/size of Micro SD so far as you know?

Please be sure to post back and let us know how the SanDisk works out for you. I am on the fence about getting a 2GB card (not sure I need it at the moment).

Well I paid for expidated delivery when I ordered it this weekend, but all I have is a tracking code that so far only reports that electronic billing has been received at the shipping destination. But I hope it arrives by Friday and doesn't require a signature since I won't be home at the time.

I wanted to get it by Thur so I could use my office pc to make sure there are no problems with formatting. Being new to this kind of thing, I am not positive I know how to do this but I didn't want to go through all that work of getting the micro card in and finding that it was not properly ready for use in my phone.

Edited to say that the card was waiting on me when I got home. I am waiting on at least one important long distance call so when their office closes then I will give it a try. Just hope I can figure out how to get the card in place. The manual makes it look like a challenge.

Okay, installed the 2 big SanDisk and it was immediately recognized by the phone. Transferred word, jpg, and audio files to the storage cards. All worked with the exception of the audio files which is my fault because I either have the wrong kind of audio files - don't use MP3, only cds - and/or did not install them through Windows Media player or whatever is the proper procedure.
The point is the card seems to work fine. It will just take me more than 5 minutes to understand how to use it properly.
On, BTW, I found a thread on the Cingular web where someone claimed he got a 2 gig - don't know name or if had adoptor, etc - and paid only $50 for it.

Edited to say that now have music playing from the storage card. Not sound bad with the headset.

I want to know which MicroSD card is the fastest. Does anyone know?

I remember back when I bought my MPX200 three years ago, there were some (standard or mini SD flash, I beleive) that were supposed to be much faster than others but I don't remember which brand was the fastest of the bunch and those were standard SD flash, not micro. Hopefully somebody knows which MicroSD is the fastest.

SanDisk makes Extreme II microSD/Transflash cards, they are supposed to be faster. You could research them more on sandisks site and there are a few vendors online that sell them.

Dunno if I should try the KingMax, or just go with the standard Sandisk.
