I've owned my MPx220 for a week now. I find there's a lot of wasted (IMO) whitespace in many of the menus.

It's not just the fonts. I think the inter-line spacing could be tighter, and there are a few places where data is displayed in a wastefule one-record-per-line format. If the software were just a little smarter, there would be much better use of the screen.

E.g., in Contacts, the city/state/zip are displayed on separate lines. In Calendar, the dates and times for new tasks are all entered on separate lines.

I found a couple of applications to load different fonts, but they seem to be for novelty's sake. Even if I loaded Verdana and shrunk the font size down, there would still be this wasted whitespace.

Can any WM programmers comment on how much of this is hard-wired into WM? Any hints of it being addressed in WM05?

John
