Can you help me again please.... No matter what I try I can't get T Zones to work on my 6315. I have tried various settings I have found here and on T Mo's site, to no avail. I am useing T Mo prepaid and I used this sim in my MPX200 and it worked perfrectly. Any help is much appreciated.

Yes, it just turns the screen off. The phone is still on waiting for calls. With a Pocket PC it's actually impossible to turn it completely off unless you pull the battery out. Turning it off is really just turning the screen off.

Thanks Smeg. I'm looking forward to getting to grips with the machine, so no doubt you may need to help me in the near future.

Hi Guys,
Just got my new 6315. A quick question, if the phone function is turned on and you turn the pda off via main on / off button will the phone still recieve calls and do you simply turn on pda via this button to dial out. I have no manual and have been reading manual online and its not too clear.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys, Does anyone know if this would work ??? Dialing up to a ISP via 1 800 to surf the web when not in a WiFi Hotspot and no data plan??
Thx in advance.

Thanks Smeg,
I was going to try it on T Mobile prepay when my new 6315 arrives next week. I was only going to use this method as a last resort when a WiFi hotspot wasn't close by. Just a thought.

Hi Guys, This may seem like a dumb question to most of you but I know very little about the following...
The question, If I take my laptop to my local Free WiFi Hotspot and use their network to browse the Web can my laptop be later identified on their network. IE,.... If I was to do something not quite "legit" whilst at the Hotspot could it be traced back to me via any info that my pc has given out ?? Just wondering.
Thanks.

Thanks Smeg,
I'll keep trying different things. Isn't 1800 free so therefore won't use up any minutes ??

Can anybody help with this ??

I have a 1 800 number to connect to dial up internet.

When setting up it asks for country code..... 1

Then area code.......... ??

Then phone number..........??

I have tried, area code.......1800

phone number........*******

area code........blank

phone number.......1800*******

None of this seems to work.

I'm on Tmobile, do they not support dial up ???

I'm sure all the other settings are correct.

Thanks.

Yes, I highlight your text, right click mouse, click copy, open a file I created, and try to paste but the paste option is not available.

Both internal and external screens display "No Service", but I can send & recieve voice calls & sms. Any thoughts as to what is wrong and how to fix. I hate having to hard reset for all these little faults. WM2002.
Thanks.

Yet another Newbie question,
I have seen some pictures on this and other sites of smartphone Home screens and they show battery strength and signal strength that look custom made. Are these made via XML, (of which I have no understanding of what so ever.) or are they downloadable as a cab file from some where.
This is a fanatstic forum, being totally new to the world of smartphones, I have learned so much from other members and have been surfing here everyday since I got my new toy.
Thx.

2nd question from a newbie,

I had wm2002 on mpx200 and music on sd card that I could play no problem when opening windows media. Could play on shuffle for the whole song list (several hours) After flashing to wm2003 the files were some where else and weren't able to be played when opening windows media. I could find files when useing file manager but how to you play all files in suffle from here.????
Have reflashed back to wm2002 in the meantime.
Thank for any input.

Hi guys, first post. Newbie to mpx200.
My problem is; I followed the settings as listed here http://wap.x2-hosting.com/t-zones/ and had t-zones running fine on mpx200 with wm2002.
I flashed to wm2003 but didn't like it so flashed back to wm2002 and installed t-zones again but now it wont work????
When I go to internet explorer it just goes to favourites page and dosn't dial or anything.
What am I doing wrong ??
Thanks in advance for any help.
