My phone took a hard crash the other day. OS finally come back up after several reboots. Now I am unable to use my existing partnership....
how do i reset the phone manually to accept the existing desktop partnership from active synch..

You could try to chnage the partership name in the registry back to the old name. However it is probably just as easy to create a new partnership and resync all the info off the PC. This is just one more reason I advocate the use of backup programs like Sprite. It can restore your phone to the exact same settings as the time you saved it. No hassle at all.

Yes I have been looking at sprite. I just figured once I create the new partnership I will lose all the data I have on the phone and have to reinstall apps. since the hard crash was local to the phone I was hoping to tweak the register.....
