Now I am unable to use my existing partnership.... how do i reset the phone manually to accept the existing desktop partnership from active synch.. thanks

However it is probably just as easy to create a new partnership and resync all the info off the PC. This is just one more reason I advocate the use of backup programs like Sprite. It can restore your phone to the exact same settings as the time you saved it. I just figured once I create the new partnership I will lose all the data I have on the phone and have to reinstall apps. since the hard crash was local to the phone I was hoping to tweak the register.....
