_ T-Mobile Dash _ Looking for a hands-free solution

Posted by: rosy7914

I'm looking for a Bluetooth "car kit" that will work with the Dash as hands-free as possible. I have MS Voice Command 1.6 and it works great from the phone. A device that passively listened for a key phrase and then activated voice command would be perfect. Short of that, one button activation would be ok. The Bluetooth should re-pair automatically whenever I got within range.

I wear BTE hearing aids so a Bluetooth headset would be problematic.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

http://www.driveblue.com/ create many different bluetooth car kits, most of which should work for your situation. It's all a matter of how much you want to spend, and what you like the look of.

I am a huge fan and user of the http://www.parrot.biz/usa/products/rhythmnblue. I got it about a year ago, and had it installed at Best Buy. It works perfectly, and it has been my fav. accessory (if you call it that). With MS VoiceCommand, it is that much better. I never have to pull the phone out of my pocket unless I am using GPS, checking traffic, or something along those lines. It is nice having my stereo read my email subjects to me as I recieve them, and reading my text messeges as they come in as well. I must say though, that there is one HUGE drawback, and that is the fact that there is no clock on the system, and there is no capability for it to be added in a ROM update (yes, you can update them via BT computer) due to a lack of quartz or something to that effect, but that is my ONLY complaint about it.

I ended up getting one of the cheaper Parrot hands-free. It's a bit fussy about road noise in my Subaru., but mostly workable.

Why a clock when you can just say 'What time is it?" to MS voice command ?
